Dear Readers,

”Every experience, no matter how bad it seems, holds within it a blessing of some kind. The goal is to find it.”

- Gautama Buddha

I feel accolade for providing me this opportunity to function as the Editor-in-Chief of JOMFP, wherein I inherit a robust publication well positioned for constant development and accomplishment. I am indebted for the confidence placed in me and would like to show my gratitude to all the IAOMP members, authors, and reviewers for directing JOMFP through copious positive vicissitudes, overseeing significant progress of high quality submissions, and accomplishing a significant rise in the journal's citation and impact factor. Binge the word and stay updated for more of our editorial disquisitions.

Our editorial team is pleased to share with you the fourth and final issue for 2022. Conversely, we regret to inform readers that there will not be any supplementary editions as mentioned earlier due to inevitable circumstances. However, for those readers who have receive the printed version of this issue, you may notice that this book is a little heavier than usual. This is because the December issue is a lengthy one with more manuscripts being included, thus aiding to clear some of the backlogs of accepted articles that were waiting for assignation into a specific volume and issue. By the time you read this editorial, our much -awaited 29th edition of the National Conference of the Indian Association of Oral & Maxillofacial Pathologists will have ended and that we will have been able to travel without excessive restrictions, hoping to create fond memories with this extended family.

I now invite contributions for our next upcoming volumes and sincerely hope our readers will find this issue thought-provoking, academically relevant, and useful in building up diverse outlooks on pathological aspects for academicians and clinicians.

Best Regards

Dr. Smitha T.
